Look up bathroom decorating ideas on Pinterest and I’m sure at some point you will come across pictures of eucalyptus hanging in the shower. I’m a huge fan of eucalyptus so I was really excited to learn about this hack to get your bathroom smelling ever so wonderful.
I still have not tried the eucalyptus hack, BUT I did hang something in my shower that smells just as pleasant — lavender! Whenever I am made to go grocery shopping (there are SO many other things I’d rather do, but sometimes I take one for the team!), I check out the flower section first. It’s the one thing about going to Publix that actually excites me. On my most recent visit, I picked up a few bundles of fresh lavender. Since fresh eucalyptus is a bit trickier to find around here, I opted for the upside down hanging of my lavender in the shower instead. The end result? Aaaamazing! The steam from the shower combines with the flower and lets off a subtle lavender scent that makes it feel like you’ve just set foot at the spa!
I like to use the Aromatherapy lotion from Bath & Body Works after every shower to make me feel brand new again! I’m really loving the Balance scent, which consists of juniper and coriander. Try it, you’ll thank me later!
